01 · BRACE app (iPhone and iPad)
Privacy: we collect nothing.
BRACE does not collect, store or send any personal data to us or to anyone else.
| Account | None. BRACE never asks who you are. |
|---|---|
| Microphone | Never used. BRACE has no audio input and does not request microphone access. |
| Internet | BRACE itself makes no internet connections and contains no analytics, tracking, advertising or cloud services. The only connection is Apple's App Store, when you buy or restore the unlock. |
| Your music | Everything you make stays on your device, in BRACE's folder in the Files app. It only leaves your device if you share, copy or export it yourself. Your device's own backups (for example iCloud Backup) may include it, under your Apple settings. |
| Bluetooth | Asked for only so you can pair Bluetooth MIDI keyboards and controllers. Nothing else is scanned or stored. |
| Purchases | The one-time unlock is sold and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your name, email address or payment details. BRACE stores only whether it is unlocked, on your device. |
| Crash reports | If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone or iPad settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash reports. This is Apple's system and your choice. It does not identify you. |
| Children | BRACE collects no data from anyone, including children. |

04 · Licence
BRACE licence.
| Copyright | Copyright © 2026 Caillan Halliday / 30P. All rights reserved. |
|---|---|
| Origin | Concept, generative engine, and implementation originated August 2026 by Caillan Halliday (30P). This includes the "four-brain" generative instrument design — a composition brain that writes multi-bar phrases with musical intent, a performance brain that plays them with dynamics and kick-relationship prediction, an analog voice, and a six-macro surface over the whole engine. |
| iPhone and iPad | BRACE from the App Store is licensed to you under Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula), together with these terms. |
| Your music | Music you make with BRACE is yours, for personal or commercial use. That includes audio and MIDI you export. No credit or royalty is owed. |
| You may not | Copy, share, resell, sublicense or give away BRACE or its unlock; reverse-engineer, decompile or extract its engine, voices, preset logic or design; or remove its copyright or authorship notices. |
| Mac version | When the Mac plug-in (AU / VST3) and standalone app are released, they will come with their own licence, published here. |
| Governing law | Victoria, Australia. |
05 · Safety & liability
Bass can do damage.
BRACE produces powerful sub-bass. Played loud, especially through small speakers, it can damage speakers, devices and hearing. Read the full warning on the Support page.
You use BRACE at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, 30P, Alone Tees and Caillan Halliday are not liable for damage to hearing, speakers, headphones, devices or anything else caused by misuse, excessive volume or unsuitable playback equipment. This does not exclude, restrict or change any guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or other law that cannot be excluded.
